i was after a pair of RM boots and came across their website online. from start to finish their assistance to me when buying the boots was swift and efficient! i haven’t had such a seamless experience with buying online in a long time! special thanks to Cara who helped me out the whole process! give them a try if you’re after any men’s clothing!

We came here after the floods, when the town economy was starting to get back up on their feet. We were from the Gold Coast, and staying at Brunswick Heads. And made this one of our day trips to come to Lismore. This was one of the early business to hit the ground running. Which we bought some beautiful bamboo shirts from them. There were still a lot of places closed. And we also enjoyed one of the cafes that had just opened back up. We always like to come down here at least once a year. This business established its self in Lismore in 1957. And has been flooded many times. And always reopened many times. And still family owned and has couple of other shops in the coastal districts. They have shown their resilience in thick and thin. The service has always been excellent to locals and visitors alike. 10/10 to the Gooleys.

Ordered a new Akubra from Gooley's.
Well packed and fast postage. Hat fits perfectly, and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely order from Gooley's again.

Quite literally the best customer service experience I've ever had. This business radiates with knowledge, attention to detail, and ensuring that the customer leaves happy. I really can't wait to come back.

My wife and I were driving down the main Street of Lismore, looking to see if any shops had reopened and saw George Gooleys. This is an iconic/old school menswear store. I decided on the spur of the moment to see if I could support them. The staff were going about their business, still trying to stock the shelves. Large sections of the ceiling and walls were stripped out (please see photos) but nonetheless they were operational.

The staff were lovely and we were served by a lady who called herself the "apprentice" because she had only been working there for 29 years compared to the 40 years of one of the older staff members.

This store would have been flood affected twice in the recent weather event but once again they have bounced back. I'm proud to be able to say that I have shopped there.
